2011 CRECOMM GRAD COMMITTEE: BACHELOR AND BACHELORETTE AUCTION
A brief announcement, please come and support your 2011 Grad Committee by attending the Auction Thursday, February 11th at the Academy on Osborne! A few of your fellow CreCommers and other amazing volunteers will get up and entertain all you folk for bids towards a special date, taken care of by the Committee! Grab tickets for $5 from your Grad President Lauren Fieldberg in Section 2, your Vice President (myself) in Secion 1, our Treasurer Eman Agpalza in Section 1, our Secretary Christa Campbell in Section 2, and volunteers Andrew Kress in Section 1, Berea Henderson in Section 1, Meg Blanchette in Section 3 and Jeremy Williams in Section 3! Thanks guys, it's definitely just for a good time, and don't forget that it is towards the benefit for your grad, so help us out!

FASHION INSPIRATION: JERSEY SHORE? Yes, as shocking as it may be, your favorite MTV "guidos" and "guidettes" are beginning trends in fashion. With a lot of dedication the show, fans are imitating the iced and gel heavy hair, the barely-there booty shorts, the True Religion jeans and the Ed Hardy t-shirts (which, btw, I thought both were over with?).

I guess with life today evolving and changing so quickly, if you are capable of grabbing attention, you must take this as an opportunity to express yourself and your influence? Sure, personally I don't agree with the style of Jersey Shore, as much as I am oddly drawn to the television series - but if you're getting noticed, why not be noticed for acting and dressing as yourself. This is definitely better than projecting a fake image (gag). Take Jenni (JWOWW) Farley, for example, who is using her new found fame to launch her own clothing line. Jiminy cricket. Still though, "big ups" to the Jersey Shore crew, best of luck on your future endeavours hehe.

As a last snippet, come visit your local Aritzia! Today has marked the beginning of our Snooze You Lose event! This is your opportunity to grab last minute winter merchandise, snag those carry over pieces for the spring, and take a look at the new items we'll be receiving for the season! Hope to see you find ladies and gents there!

& PROFILE

CONFESSIONS OF A FASHION-AHOLIC ♥

My name is Lennie Eulalia and I am a CreComm student in the joint program. I am currently working towards a career in Public Relations, hopefully towards something in Fashion and Sales. As guessed, I work in clothing retail as a Senior Sales Associate for Aritzia which I hope will help me communicate my love of fashion, and hopefully develop my career in the long run.
